Marlina Moreno is an eco-adventure junkie who's traveling the world and producing media that promotes amazing people, places and programs. From eco-travel destinations and conservation projects, to green businesses and sustainable lifestyles, Marlina covers it all through articles, photos, and creative video production. Marlina attributes her passion for the planet, conservation and the outdoors to growing up on a farm in California, while her media production experience actually started in front of the camera. Before discovering a love of behind-the-scenes production, Marlina worked as an on-camera host, commercial actor, model and professional dancer. Most notably she was an NFL cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers, featured in numerous publications such as Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition, and has appeared in national and global campaigns for Samsung, Nike, Siemens, and Virgin. She holds an undergraduate degree in advertising, an MBA, and is currently working on her second masters degree in biology and wildlife conservation. A self-proclaimed entrepreneur, Marlina has started and ran a successful eco-commercial cleaning company and worked as a consultant for a variety of business and marketing development projects. Most recently she began her own media house that specializes in video production, web design and branding for non-profit, eco-tourism and sustainable business sectors. Marlina is currently the Senior International Travel Columnist for WhenInManila.com, blogger at LoveandEco.com - a green living and philanthropy inspired site, and blogger at BrunetteAbroad.com - an eco-travel dairy where readers get a behind the scenes experience of her traveling, writing and filming adventures.
