Atom Araullo bids goodbye to home network and the internet reacts

After being a Kapamilya for more than 10 years, Atom Araullo announced that he was leaving his home network, ABS-CBN. He made the announcement via Instagram where he also shared his farewell message.

He said, “However, the time has come to explore emerging opportunities and challenges beyond the organization.”

This announcement was one of the top trending topics in Twitter Philippines on Friday morning.

Working with ABS-CBN for over a decade has been an amazing adventure. However, the time has come to explore emerging opportunities and challenges beyond the organization. Although I am taking a new path, I have nothing but respect and gratitude for the company that helped me become the journalist I am today. To all the hardworking men and women of ABS-CBN, maraming maraming salamat 🙂
