Ateneo Loyola Schools Recruitment Week 2014: Join an Organization or Two!
They say an Atenean’s university life is incomplete until he has experienced committing to an organization. Last year, 88% of the student population signed up for at least one organization and this year, that number will definitely be greater as we present to you the biggest recruitment week yet!
The Ateneo Loyola Schools Recruitment Week (RecWeek) is an annual week-long event where all student groups and organizations gather as a community and invite students to join organizations by presenting their core competencies as student groups and by showcasing the projects and events that they have in store for the year. Being one of the first big events in the Ateneo Loyola Schools, RecWeek sets the direction of the year’s activities and it serves as a springboard for the actualization of each organization’s goals and the adventure that is bound to happen for the year.
It is one of the rare occasions where all student groups come together for a single purpose: to create the best recruitment week with the aim of introducing and involving the student body to the thrilling organization life in Ateneo that guarantees a fun and fulfilling experience set to maximize each student’s potentials and provide organization members opportunities to learn, grow, and find their home in the university.
This year, the Ateneo Loyola Schools Recruitment Week is themed after the concept of the safari. Often associated with risk, exploration, and adventure; the safari more or less sums up the organization life in the Ateneo. By juxtaposing organization life with the safari, the former will be depicted as an exciting venture into the unknown and as a discovery of wonders. The different organizations and individuals gathering in RecWeek represent the diverse wildlife living in a common space and gathering for a common purpose: RecWeek.
The Ateneo Loyola Schools Recruitment Week will be held at the MVP Roof Deck from June 30 to July 4.
