Ateneo ENTABLADO Presents Ginugunita Kata

Ateneo-ENTABLADO-Invitea

Ateneo ENTABLADO (ENterteynment para sa TAo, Bayan, LAnsangan at DiyOs), the resident theater-of-the-people of the Ateneo de Manila University, strives to break the boundaries between art and reality. Through meaningful and remarkable theatrical performances, the organization foregrounds the diverse and persisting realities that affect the people of our nation, for the awareness of the Ateneo community and the society at large.

In its 34th season, entitled Ginugunita Kata, Ateneo ENTABLADO calls all for an involved survey of our nation’s past through its advocacy for the year: “Together recollecting the past through a sympathetic portrayal in the present”. With outstanding and profound productions and projects in its season line up, Ateneo ENTABLADO believes that it will be able to make its cause known to other members of our community.

The season will officially be launched in an open event on August 20 from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Faber Function Hall in Ateneo de Manila University, where the organization’s advocacies, services, line up of plays, and partnership opportunities will be presented.

Towards the end of the program, selected members of Ateneo ENTABLADO will perform a one-act play entitled “Ang Eksorsismo ni Bb. Concepcion” directed by Jerome Ignacio that will display our organization’s theatrical approach on socio-political issues.
