Ateneo Blue Eagles Player Who Posed As “Councilor” Posts Public Apology

A few days ago, we posted about an intoxicated man caught in an altercation who claimed he was a city councilor. The “councilor” later turned out to be John Apacible, a basketball player for the Ateneo Blue Eagles, angering many netizens not just because of his behavior that was caught on camera, but because of the supposed deception that took place.

The Ateneo de Manila University posted the apology of John Apacible on its official Facebook page, which you can check out below:

John Apacible public apology %22councilor%22

Apacible was reportedly suspended from playing in the entire second round of the UAAP season 78 following the incident.

What do you think of his apology? Is all forgiven?
