The Ateneo Alumni Association prides itself in creating learning spaces for positive change to strengthen and grow the Ateneo de Manila community. One of the AAA’s missions is to create opportunities for mentorship of young alumni and students and to bridge alumni locally and internationally to other alumni, Ateneo students, and key sectors.
Hence this year, the AAA together with Smart Communications Inc., Uber Philippines and the Office of Placement and Career Services, with WhenInManila.com as the media partner, is hosting the first ever Ateneo alumni career fair – Alumni Connect.
Alumni Connect will give Ateneo alumni an opportunity to network among peers and the country’s leading companies. The event also features a talk on how to effectively manage finances with Cheryl Sanguyo of Vista Land International Marketing and Rose FresFausto of FQMom.
For this event, the AAA also invited the British Council, UKEAS, Australia Awards, Education USA, Campus France and Beyond the Philippines to introduce graduate study opportunities abroad.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the children of Gawad Kalinga Sibol located at Molave, Payatas, Quezon City. GK Sibol is a community-based pre-school program that aims to instill positive Filipino values and prepare children ages 3 to 6 years old for formal schooling.
