Ascott Makati: Dad is King for the Month of June!
When in Manila, people never pass up on the opportunity to hold family affairs! Holidays most often turn into bonding sessions with the family, and father’s day is no different. How did you guys spend your father’s day? I made sure mine was well-spent by taking my dad and the family to a wonderful lunch feast at the Ascott Makati father’s day barbecue buffet at Café on the 6th.

Their Sunday barbecue consisted of a bunch of favorites that any father would surely love. Guests got to take their pick from select US rib eye steak, choice cut pork belly, king prawns, pork spareribs, an assortment of sausages and mixed vegetable kebabs that Ascott Makati chefs grilled to their liking. We especially liked that the prawns and steaks were all very flavorful; it was a protein feast in its simplest and most unadulterated form, grilled to perfection over a blazing grill, which is truly when it tastes best.

For their Father’s day buffet, Ascott Makati Café on the 6th also had a salad bar, as well as a Mongolian rice and noodle station, where we got to put together our own Mongolian rice mix with an array of ingredients and either rice or noodles. I had to say, my rice mix creation was super yummy! It was the perfect match for our meat fest!

Our father’s day lunch at Ascott Makati was definitely a wonderful experience. More than the delicious food and the nice view, I’m so glad to have had the opportunity to bond and share a hearty meal with my family.

You too can enjoy a sumptuous buffet with your family at the Ascott Makati Café on the 6th! They offer a hearty lunch and dinner buffet every Wednesday this month, where guests can enjoy their pasta and salad station, as well as tasty rib eye roast carvings and conchinillo asado, desserts and other scrumptious international delicacies served by their Executive Sous Chef Orlando Reantaso. Café on the 6th’s lunch buffet is open from 12-3pm, while dinner is served from 6-10pm; lunch and dinner buffets cost PHP888++ per person.
