If it’s true, it won’t be very strange at all.
Rumors are swirling (in the real world and the Upside Down) that Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin and Gaten Matarazzo, three stars of the cult show Stranger Things, are modeling for the French luxury label Louis Vuitton. The news came after creative director Nicolas Ghesquière posted an Instagram photo with the three kids.
He captioned the photo with, “Such a fun day and exciting project coming up thanks to all of you guys.”
Ghesquière is known for his unusual casting for Vuitton campaigns. Earlier this year, Lightning from Final Fantasy modeled bags, while Jaden Smith modeled the womenswear collection from the 2016 Spring-Summer collection.
There is still no word what the kids of Stranger Things will actually do.
Stranger Things is the TV phenomenon of the year. Since it premiered in July (all eight episodes were released simultaneously, as is Netflix’s tradition), Rotten Tomatoes gave the series a 94%, saying, “Exciting, heartbreaking, and sometimes scary, Stranger Things acts as an addictive homage to Spielberg films and vintage 1980s television.”
