Are Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Ye Shooting an American Series?

Are Lee Min Ho and Park Shin-ye Going to Hollywood?

Rumor has it that Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Ye are reuniting after the successful K-drama The Heirs for another TV show. Except this time, it’s going to be in the US.

According to reports, the show will be called The Good Doctor, a medical series that will be a remake of a South Korean medical drama that first aired in 2013. The Hollywood remake will be produced by Hawaii Five-0 actor Daniel Dae Kim and House creator David Shore. Supposedly, this series will air in 2017.

Bates Motel star Freddie Highmore will play the lead role of Dr. Shaun Murphy, a doctor with Asperger Syndrome. They will also be joined by Grey’s Anatomy‘s Irene Keng, CSI: New York‘s Hill Harper, Nicholas Gonzalez, Antonia Thomas, and Chuku Mudu.

The inclusion of Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Ye is a great move. Even if they did not star in the original K-drama, a survey conducted by the Korea Creative Content Agency showed that the two stars are the most popular Korean celebrities in the US. Their series The Heirs was also a hit in the US.
