The full episode of “Parts Unknown” in Manila finally hit TV screens on CNN recently. In the teaser, Bourdain stated that “sisig is possibly the best thing you could ever eat with a cold beer”. This time, he says that Jolly Spaghetti is “deranged yet strangely alluring”. :p Watch this:

When I first moved here, I felt the same about Jolly Spaghetti. “Hotdogs and sweet tomato sauce?” I thought. It was definitely strange and new to me, but just as with a lot of other people, I fell in love with it – so much so that I sometimes crave for it more than I do traditional Italian spaghetti. :p
