ANG SARAP! Festival Gala Night: Celebrating Filipino Culinary Heritage

Inviting all Filipino food enthusiasts on December 8, 2015 – 6:00 o’clock in the evening National Museum Old Senate Hall Padre Burgos St., City of Manila for the ANG SARAP! Festival Gala Night curated by the Philippine Culinary Heritage Movement.

This event seeks to gather the strength of Filipino food advocates & multiple stakeholders of different industries to make improvements from within by working together for the ANG SARAP! PHILIPPINE FOOD FESTIVAL 2016. The event will be co-presented by the Department of Agriculture & supported by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts in cooperation with the National Museum of the Philippines.​

The Philippine Culinary Heritage Movement (PCHM) is a SEC registered not for profit organization dedicated for the promotion and preservation of Philippine Cuisine. PCHM also supports all locally made heirloom Filipino products and Agriculture through their various projects and advocacies. The group is headed by Chef Jam Melchor, who was commissioned by the Department of Agriculture to be the ambassador of Filipino cuisine and our local products in ASEAN Countries for a Philippine Food Festival Roadshow 2014 -2015.

Proceeds of the Gala night will benefit the children of Pangarap Foundation through the Handog PCHM project. This project would be the first of many in our campaign to help reduce food insecurity and hunger.
