Alliance Send-Off 4

PR_ASO4wSponsors(WHENINMANILA.COM)

After bagging Bronze in the Varsity Division of last year’s 2016 World Hip Hop Dance Championship, an official delegate of the Philippines to the Hip Hop International stage since 2014 is set to compete and represent again the Philippines for the fourth time – and this time, they’re bringing a bigger team.

Just last May, The Alliance bagged two GOLD medals in the Adult and Megacrew Divisions of the 2016 Philippine Hip Hop Dance Championship National Finals by HHI Philippines, which makes them qualified to compete at the upcoming 2017 World Hip Hop Dance Championship this August. Dubbed as the “Olympics of Hip Hop Dance.” it is a huge privilege for the team to set foot on that very stage again along with the other Philippine representatives and qualified dance crews from all over the world. The said competition will be held at the Arizona Grand Resort & Spa from August 4-11 for the Preliminaries and Semi-Finals, and at the Grand Canyon University Arena on August 12 for the Finals (both venues in Phoenix, Arizona).

Given the abovementioned and upcoming journey, the team will be holding a fundraising dance concert this year for the benefit of its now-bigger HHI competing team to help them with their expenses towards their destination and while abroad – flight tickets, lodging/accommodation, food and competitions’ registration fees. Alliance Send-Off, now on its fourth year, aims to unite the support of its fellow Filipinos not just for the team but also for all the representatives of the Philippines this year. Events such as this never fail to gather the Philippine dance community and promote oneness in inspiring enthusiasts and believers of the culture and arts, as well as uplifting the impact of Filipino talent in the international scene.

Foreseen as another bigger Alliance Send-Off production to date, the whole team will be showcasing newly choreographed, themed routines segmented in different acts, as well as their latest competition routines to an audience of over 1,000.

Kicking off the show and joining The Alliance on stage are special performances from our guestsLMN, TPM (Team Package Makers), RED, and A-Team Femme.

Alliance Send-Off 4 is happening on the 21st of July 2017, Friday, at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater inside the premises of Ateneo de Manila University along C-5/Katipunan Ave., Quezon City. Tickets are available for only Php 350 each. Please contact Sam Gamboa at (0916) 4429704 or any Alliance member near you.

Open house will start at 7:00 PM so arrive at the venue on time to get good seats and participate in games with amazing prizes from the event’s sponsors, and get to bond with the team before the show starts. There will also be food and beverage stalls mounted by the event’s vendor partners so you can satisfy your tummy cravings in between the show proper. Show Proper commences at 8:00 PM.

About The Alliance

Established in 2013, The Alliance is a professional open dance team that has become one of the most sought-after groups in the local and international dance scene to date. The team has been competing and bagging podium finishes in prestigious competitions such as Hip Hop International Philippines and World of Dance Philippines. It is also one of the official delegates of the Philippines to the annual World Hip Hop Dance Championship held in the U.S. and has represented the country in the Varsity division since 2014. With its members coming from different, popular school-based groups in Manila (such as DLSU, UP, ADMU, CSA Makati, UST, Miriam College, St. Paul Pasig, etc.), the team strives to be an excellent role model by imbibing senses of camaraderie and sportsmanship in uplifting the art within the dance community – all while doing it for the glory of God.
