Take note, menswear enthusiasts: Spectre Manila has gone beyond Manila’s concrete jungle after they just successfully launched their first out-of-town trunk show in the Queen City of the South, Cebu City.
As a purveyor of menswear brands that are a cut above the rest, Spectre aims to expand these premium products and services for the modern gentlemen beyond Manila and to different cities.Â
Local heritage and menswear icons The Henry Hotel Cebu and 22 Thatcher Barbershop served as the trunk show’s major sponsors as Spectre arrived on the shores of Cebu. The trunk show also hosted a talk where wear blogger Mr. Karlo Lim, “The Hamburgero”, and Spectre’s partner and menswear enthusiast Aaron Chan spoke on the art of dressing for men, gentleman etiquette and shared helpful styling tips.Â
The trunk show also featured Tiño Suits’ Master Tailor Napoleon Arienza for a bespoke suit fitting, a Filipino artisan who has been in the tailoring industry for more than four decades and has been trained in Italy. Aside from offering genuine local bespoke suits, the show also presented an array of premium leather goods from brands such as Urban Traveller & Co., Loake shoes, Isidore watches, wooden bowties from Alon by Zach & Zurich, to name a few.Â
Spectre’s first trunk show in Cebu City was a tremendous success, and the first step to bringing artisanal craftsmanship to every sophisticated and modern Filipino gentleman across and outside the country.
