Preparations are underway for Alex Gonzaga’s first solo concert entitled, “AG from the East: The Unexpected Concert” to be held in Smart-Araneta Coliseum on April 25, 2015. A first in her career, AG from the East: The Unexpected Concert will showcase Gonzaga’s singing and comic prowess as well as her attitude on how life should be full of happiness.
In the said event, Alex Gonzaga will also showcase that under her comical façade is her aspiration to be a beacon of hope and an ambassador of the youth.
Gonzaga mentioned that the concept of her concert is really “expect the unexpected.”
“Opening pa lang namin, it’s very unexpected and it might raise eyebrows, not only in Philippine showbusiness but in the Philippine government, I am telling you,” Gonzaga said laughing in an interview Expected to grace her unexpected concert are Luis Manzano, Maja Salvador, Matteo Guidicelli, Toni Gonzaga and other surprise guests!
Asked how she feels about her upcoming concert. “I totally feel nervous about the concert, but I will raise everything to God,” Alex added. “Alam ninyo naman, ako ay isang alagad ako ng sining. Kung anong hinihingi ng sining, ibibigay ko [I am a muse of the arts, and I will do what arts ask of me.].”
