The global environmental concern is raising new levels of alarm as significant up shots of climate change are already in place and felt by different nations across the globe. The destruction of the planet we live in serves as a trade-off in exchange of the economic gains and interests held by various states, sectors, and industries.

As a response, the Ateneo Electronics and Computer Engineering Society (AECES) proudly brings you AECES Convention 2017: Green Tech.

Being a first this year, the convention aims to promote awareness and cognizance on the emergence of meeting future energy demands along with the call for more sustainable solutions. A two-Saturday convention on renewable energy, energy management, and e-waste management, Green Tech features talks and presentations by leaders and experts across the academe and the industry, culminating in an ideation competition among participating schools.

Students from across Metro Manila who are either: (a) enrolled in the STEM strand, or (b) enrolled in their junior or senior year from science, technology, and engineering-oriented public and private high schools are invited and will have a chance to pitch their green technology ideas. Trophies and cash prizes await to winning teams.
