It was an active morning in Track 30th at BGC last Sunday, October 23, 2016, with something for everyone wanting to get moving on the road to fitness. Eduardo Lapuos led an introduction to Tai-Chi to kick things off and warm the attendees up,followed by a Flexibility Not Required class by Urban Ashram Yoga’s Amanda Zabatto help attendees stretch out. FWD Life invited Plana Forma, Arnis Philippines, and Primal Ape Crossfit for the participants to get a feel of the fitness programs they can access with the Orange World App. Herbalife ran a Zumba class encouraging people to get active and move to the beat, and 360 Fitness Club’s Kim Bejo turned the intensity up with his HIIT session. The event concluded with a raffle draw with freebies from FWD Life and Urban Ashram, and a mini-football game where people tested their physical prowess in a friendly competition.
Healthy food and beverages from participating concessionaires were made available throughout the day with gourmet snacks from Crisp on 28th, fruity ice pops from Picole, choice produce and purple corn from Homegrown Organics, healthy eating from The Good Seed, vegan desserts from Delicielo, vegan treats from Jertie’s Kitchen, malunggay pandesal and other baked goods from Betterbread, guiltless yet indulgent ice cream from Cocolatto, healthy fruit and oat smoothie bowls from Makai Bowls, energizing coffee with grass-fed butter from Buttr Coffee, and bottles of refreshing Gatorade given out for free to registered participants.
Other concessionaires provided helpful fitness goods and services. Alcis Athletica had a booth providing quality stylish sportswear for women, The GoodBoxand the Lunchbox Diet promoted their specialized diet plans that health-conscious patrons could subscribe to, and Photobook Philippines provided people with a way to capture the day and make people’s big step towards fitness that Sunday a memorable one.
