Pat-a-Pie: Crazy Delicious Pies for Your Crazy Palate

WHEN IN MANILA, I have the worst eating habits known to mankind. One minute, I’m skipping both breakfast and lunch out of sheer laziness to open the stove and cook for myself; the next minute, I’m having dinner at an unlimited sushi place with my girlie, Fern. Despite my awful eating habits, though, there are some goodies that I simply cannot refuse: ice cream, chocolates, pizza, burgers, and pies! So, when I heard of Pat-a-Pie, I just knew I had to try it out!

Pat-a-Pie promises to deliver handmade sweet and savory pies to satisfy anyone’s curious palate. With their extensive menu on pies, quiches, and tartlets, one cannot help but want to try all of Pat-a-Pie‘s mouthwatering-creations. While I’m sure most, if not all, of Pat-a-Pie’s goodies are delicious, here are some of my personal favorites:

I am not a huge fan of menudo. In fact, I remember that when I was a kid, I would beg my yaya to cook either sausages or nuggets whenever my mom would decide to have menudo for lunch. So, yes, I was a bit hesitant to try out Pat-a-Pie’s menudo pies. But thank God I did!

Being a menudo hater, I have no idea what “good” menudo tastes like. But I truly enjoyed eating Pat-a-Pie’s menudo pies, so they must have done something right. I loved every bit of Pat-a-Pie’s menudo filling. The pork bits, the sauce, and yes, even the carrots. And the crust is just baked to perfection! 

I cannot stress enough how much I love eating anything curry. So when I found out that Pat-a-Pie makes Beef Curry pies, I was so giddy and excited to try them out. And these scrumptious little babies did not disappoint. 

The beef curry is cooked to perfection. The curry sauce is just right, and the beef bits are so soft it almost melts in your mouth. Every bite into Pat-a-Pie’s beef curry pies left me wanting more. 

Here’s a little crazy fact about me: I love eating apple pies. However, whenever I do, I make sure to remove all of the apples inside before eating them. I call this the Snow White syndrome. But surprisingly, that wasn’t the case in Pat-a-Pie’s apple pies. 

What I love about Pat-a-Pie’s pies is that the fillings are perfect! The apples in Pat-a-Pie’s apple pies are so soft and the apple sauce is just to die for!
