’90s Kids Rejoice: Mandy Moore is Going on Tour Again

Mandy Moore

Have a little faith in her, guys.

After a decade of not going on tour, Mandy Moore is set to hit the road and perform live music again.

The catch is, it’s only going to be in North America. Here’s to hoping it will be so successful she’ll consider a world tour that will include the Philippines!

Moore announced the news herself on Instagram with a photo of the poster and tour dates. The tour begins on March 20, 2020 in Pittsburgh and ends on May 9 in Denver.

She said, “It’s been over a decade since I’ve hit the road but I am thrilled to put together an intimate, elevated evening of new and old tunes, performed with a superb group of musicians (in fact some are my nearest and dearest). I want the show to have threads of what the writing and recording process was like with this band, almost like you’ve been invited in our living room for an inside glimpse.”

Moore adds, “It just feels good to be sharing this side of me again. In its purest form. A real side of me I have been itching to put back into the universe.”

In 1999, Moore released her debut single “Candy,” which was followed by other successful hits like “Crush,” “Have a Little Faith in Me,” and “I Wanna Be With You.” In 2002, she appeared in A Walk to Remember, where she sang “Cry” and covers of “Only Hope” and “Someday We’ll Know.”

Younger fans recognize Moore as the voice of Rapunzel in Tangled and Rebecca Pearson in This is Us.
