As an avid pastry and sweets lover, and an all-time admirer of the City of Pines, I have compiled my favorite sweet shops I’ve tried from my recurring visits in Baguio. Here’s a list of my recommended places to grab a dessert fix for all you sweet toothed foodies out there! Bring your barkada, your sweetheart, your family, or take yourself out on a sweet awesome date!
7. Beans Talk Bistro
Beans Talk Bistro is located in the heart of Baguio City, along Session Road. This bistro is a go-to place for Baguio locals especially students and young professionals. They have a wide set of food offerings for their customers. They serve rice meals, appetizers, coffee, smoothies, milk tea, bread, and of course, cakes! I also recommend you try their fruit shakes. The Strawberry flavor is my personal favorite! Yum!

6. Patch Cafe
Patch Cafe is located inside Bloomfield Hotel, Leonard Wood Road, just below SM City Baguio. Aside from cakes and pastries, they also serve pasta dishes, rice meals, pizzas, coffee, and other specialty drinks. The Nutella Chocolate Cake is my personal favorite! Mildly sweet and delicious! Best paired with one of their cold specialty drinks such as the Iced Toffee Crunch Latte.

5. Cakes By Yda Cafe
This cafe is a bit hard to find as it is located in the backyard of a household in Bakakeng New Site. The adventure of finding the cafe though is super worth it. Apart from cakes, Cakes by Yda Cafe also serve rice meals, pasta dishes, sandwiches, coffee, milkshakes, and other specialty drinks!
They also have an awesome terrace where you can play billiards with your barkada. Among the pastries I’ve tried, the Mango Cheesecake is my personal favorite. Their caramel sauce gives their pastries a sweet twist!
