5 Things You (Probably) Didn’t Know About Up Dharma Down

They’re known for their smash hits such as Oo and Tadhana, and their amazing live performances,  but only a few people get to experience first-hand, the fun-loving side of the talented Up Dharma Down.

Armi Millare, Carlos Tanada, Ean Mayor and Paul Yap recently gave ten lucky winners of migme’s #FatDharmaDown contest a rare glimpse into their lives away from the stage. It was interesting (and refreshing) to see Up Dharma Down interact with their listeners in an intimate and relaxed setting while sharing sandwiches at Pepi Cubano.

They gamely answered questions from migme users and here’s what we discovered.

5 Things You (Probably) Didn’t Know About Up Dharma Down

5. For Armi, “may forever [forever exists].” ♥

4. Paul’s celebrity crush is the Beautiful Dabarkad, Pauleen Luna.

 Calling bossing…

Meanwhile, Ean’s celebrity crush is Sam Pinto.

3. Now, who is the most good-looking among the bunch? Carlos had a ready answer.

But sorry, Carlos, Armi voted for Ean.

“When we were in Davao, the three of us were taking pictures with everyone after the gig, Ean stood up to get something, tapos hindi na siya bumalik, may sarili na siyang pila [and then he didn’t come back; he had his own line],” said Armi.

2. Armi has around 20 pairs of eyeglasses.

Armi shared that she has misplaced her eyeglasses several times, but for some reason they always get returned to her.

1. Up Dharma Down’s next album dropping soon?

The band has no specific timeline yet, but they admitted that they are in the process of making new music.

Ngayon nag stastart na kami. Lahat demos, sinusulat pa lang siya. Every Tuesday, meron kaming song writing day, sa bahay ni Paul or ni Carlos.” [We are already starting. We are just writing all of the demos right now. Every Tuesday, we have a song writing day at Paul’s or Carlos’ house.]

Now, this is definitely something UDD listeners can look forward to.
