5 Reasons why CHEFitness is the Only Food Delivery I can Stick to

A few weeks ago, I wrote about my experience with CHEFitness. I tried it out for two weeks and documented my favorite meals and snacks. But even after those two weeks, I continued to stay in the CHEFitness program. This is why I decided to come up with a follow-up article about my experience with CHEFitness.

I enjoy experimenting with different food delivery and juicing services, but so far, CHEFitness is the only one I can really stick to. Here are the five reasons why.

5.) I enjoy the food.

This is what really surprised me about CHEFitness. Even though the meals are healthy, they are still very delicious. The meals arrive one day before you’re supposed to consume them.
But there are some meals and snacks that I like so much. I secretly consume some snacks the moment it arrives at my doorstep! (Sorry, Chef Liza!)
I could never resist Chef Liza’s granola parfait. She slices apples into cubes and showers them with yogurt and granola.
I’m surprised when I find myself craving for Chef Liza’s healthy snacks instead of chips and fast food. If I don’t sincerely enjoy the food, I know I won’t be able to stick to the meal plans.

4.) I never need to starve myself.

I often think of diet as eating less, but CHEFitness made me realize that it’s all about eating better. The meal plan I get is the standard meal plan, which has 1,200 calories per day for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack.
I never skip meals and I even have a snack + tea + coffee! I never need to starve myself. My stomach always feels full and satisfied.

3.) There’s variety in the food.

I can’t count how many sauces I’ve tried. The fish, chicken, pork, beef, and vegetables are cooked in a variety of ways.
Some are cooked with curry, mushroom gravy, inasal, or pumpkin stew.  They viands are paired with couscous, wheat bread, peas, java rice, wheat pasta, ciabatta bread, biryani rice, and more.
I’ve been under the CHEFitness delivery service for weeks now, but I still continue to be surprised with the variety of dishes they offer. To help illustrate what I mean by their variety of food, I asked help from When in Manila’s photographers and graphics designers to show you the food for two weeks:

CHEFitness also caters to people with different types of ailments like gout, diabetes etc. They also offer vegetarian and pescatarian meal plans.

2.) Chef Liza knows what she’s doing, and she’s very passionate about it.

Chef Liza is a trained chef and has worked in the seven-star hotel Star Burj Al Arab Hotel’s Al Mahara fine dining seafood restaurant, and Al Iwan Arabic restaurant.
She studied as a personal trainer under the American Council on Exercise at the FIT Manila and pursued a second career in personal coaching together with culinary advice to those interested in improving their healthy lifestyle.
You might have seen her on television because she has been featured on TV for her cooking demos and health fitness workshops.

1.) It’s suitable for my lifestyle.

I go to school and have work meetings on weekdays. I am often too lazy to prepare healthy meals for myself,  so I used to rely on fast food or splurge on expensive restaurants. A huge chunk of my money goes to my food expenses. That changed because of CHEFitness. It’s very convenient because the package arrives one day before you’re supposed to consume them. The food is already in convenient packages that you just have to refrigerate and reheat afterward.
CHEFitness-1
The cost is 1,950 pesos + delivery charge for the entire week. That’s less than 400 pesos per day for three meals and one snack + coffee + tea—all delivered straight to your doorstep. And I know “affordable” is a relative term that will always depend on your financial status. But so far, this is the most sulit diet delivery service I’ve ever encountered—especially considering Chef Liza’s expertise.
