5. They are a stone’s throw away from Molito and Alabang Town Center.
If you’re staying in the South, you might as well make the most of the South, right? And what better way to make the most of it than by staying close to the most happening places nearby, such as Molito and Alabang Town Center? Nothing beats catching a late dinner at Molito or a late movie at Alabang Town Center and then heading right next door to fall straight to sleep.
4. They have some good food.
I don’t always wake up early for breakfast, but when I stay at Azumi, I’m up at 7am, just raring to get downstairs to Romulo Cafe to eat. While they’ve also got the usual breakfast foods, like pancakes, cereal, hot dogs and the like; it’s their mantao, noodles and sushi that excite me the most.
If you end up deciding to grab lunch or dinner at Romulo Cafe, make sure you order their milo soup, tinapa rolls and their caldereta. They are to die for!!! Also, if you ever get some sort of weird craving, like a coffee shake, you can ask them to make one for you. As long as it isn’t too out of this world and as long as they have the ingredients on hand, they will be more than happy to grant your request. 🙂
3. The design of the place is divine (read: Instagram-worthy!)
Azumi Boutique Hotel is one of the properties under Hospitality Innovators, Inc. (HII), the hotel and property management company responsible for some of Manila’s most-loved concept hotels and serviced residences. Using “innovision,” they transform ordinary hotels and serviced residences into design and experience-grounded properties, and this is extremely evident in Azumi Boutique Hotel.
Azumi is unique in terms of design and screams of class and sophistication. From the moment you walk into the lobby to the moment you have your first meal at Romulo Cafe to the moment you take a dip in their pool. It is no wonder they are on Tripadvisor’s list of Top 30 Hotels in the Metro. Although the rankings may shift, you will usually find HII properties within the Top 30 lists!
2. The serenity of their pool is an experience on its own.
Speaking of the pool, what’s not to love? The design is simple, but it does what it needs to do: it provides relaxation from the hustle and bustle of the city while providing a great view at the same time.
I would highly suggest going there at around 4 in the afternoon when there are fewer people, but the view is stunning regardless of what time you decide to go.
1. They offer the basics at very affordable rates.
Sure, some hotels may provide huge rooms and others may even have a bathtub or a gym, but if you don’t need any extra add-ons and are merely looking for a nice place to stay, then Azumi Boutique Hotel would be a great fit for you. I personally don’t need or want much when I plan a staycation in the South; a comfortable bed and good food is all I really need – and Azumi definitely delivers that and more.
Each room also has a TV, a microwave and a fridge; so if you’re easy to please like me, you won’t even need to cross the street to get your fix of movies or food, really.
