As luck would have it, HAPI (Homeschool Association of the Philippine Islands) is coming up with another exciting event called Philippine Homeschool Conference 2016!
This year, HAPI, in cooperation with Philam Life, is setting up the PHC to be
even bigger and better than before.
Set to take place from 7 a.m. (start of registration) to 6 p.m. on October 22, 2016, at the SMX Convention Center, SMX Aura Premier in Taguig City, the PHC 2016 bears the theme “From Roots to Wings: Homeschooling through the Stages”.

PHC 2016 Keynote Speakers and Topics
Four keynote speakers who are well known in the local and international
homeschooling scene will inspire participants to provide their children with
“roots,” build their foundation, and give them “wings” so they can soar to greater
heights.
Deonna Tan-Chi and her daughter Joy Tan-Chi Mendoza will be speaking as a
tandem on “Building a Firm Foundation” – something that is crucial to every
homeschooling family. Deonna, along with her husband Peter Tanchi, is one of
the pioneers of the Philippine homeschooling movement. She homeschooled Joy
and her other children at a time when homeschooling had never been heard of
among Filipinos. Now, Joy and her husband Edric are also homeschooling their
five kids with Homeschool Global and are passionate homeschooling
advocates as well. Joy also inspires homeschooling and non-homeschooling

U.S.-based speaker Andrew Pudewa’s topic on “Motivation: The Art and

heights. Bo is a bestselling author, international speaker, and entrepreneur. He
