When in Manila on July 29, 2011 make your way to the 30 Seconds to Mars concert that will be held at Trinoma’s Mindanao Open Parking Lot.
30 Seconds to Mars consists of three members, brothers Jared (lead vocalist, rythm guitarist and songwriter) and Shannon Leto (drummer) and also Tomo Miličević (lead guitar and keyboards). The band’s 1st self-titled album was released in 2002 to many positive reviews. In 2005, the band released their second album, A Beautiful Lie and in 2009 released their 3rd, entitled This is War. Just in case you haven’t heard (I’ve just recently found out about this as well), the band also made acoustic versions of songs from their second album that have been included in some versions of the album (there are some lucky people out there!). And just in case you live under a rock, lead vocalist Jared Leto has also made a name for himself in the Hollywood Film industry even before 30 seconds to Mars became popular. He has starred in films such as Panic Room, Urban Legend and Fight Club, to name a few. But we won’t be watching him perform in Manila because of his acting prowess, we’ll be watching him and his band because, well, they make great music.
The band 30 Seconds to Mars have proven themselves worthy to be in the music industry and has won many of the awards that they have been nominated for. To be more specific, the band has won 42 awards of 65 nominations. And if that doesn’t impress you, I don’t know what will.
So when in manila and you love 30 Seconds to Mars as much or even more than I do, then you cannot miss out on seeing them perform live right here in the metro. Order your tickets now because who knows what tickets will be left for you if you order them at the last minute. We’ll see you there!
