3 Brilliant Eddie Redmayne Roles We Love

3. Einar Wegener and Lily Elbe in The Danish Girl

Just last year, Eddie played the role of Einar Wegener and Lily Elbe in ‘The Danish Girl’ and, as always, he blew people away – enough to score him another Academy Award nomination. He was really convincing… but then again, if you’ve seen Eddie act, you should know by now that he does all of his roles justice.

2. Marius in Les Miserables

I first fell in love with Eddie in the on-screen adaptation of the musical ‘Les Miserables’. What was not to love, really? He could sing. He was charming. And he looked at Cosette like he was really, really in love with her. I ended up listening to the Les Miserables movie OST after watching ‘Fantastic Beasts’. :p

1. Stephen Hawking in  The Theory of Everything

Of course, this is a must-see. After all, Eddie did win an Oscar for his role as Stephen Hawking in ‘The Theory of Everything’ and I think this is where people started to see him as a more serious actor.

So, if you’re currently crushing on Eddie because of ‘Fantastic Beasts’, make sure to watch him in these older movies of his. They are all worth your time – take it from me! 🙂
