Kensington Palace announced that Prince William and Kate have chosen a school for their eldest, who is three years old.

The young prince is set to be enrolled at the Private Thomas’s School in Battersea, South London, a family-run school that is a coed day school, focusing on arts, sports, and outdoor activities.

It was earlier thought that Prince George would attend Wetherby, his father and uncle’s alma mater.

The school’s principals, Ben Thomas and Tobyn Thomas, have written a letter to parents that said: “A statement will be made today by Kensington Palace announcing that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have decided on Prince George’s next school.”

“In advance of that announcement, we are delighted to let you know that they have chosen Thomas’s and that from September Prince George will be a pupil at Thomas’s Battersea.”
