Gigantes Islands in Iloilo is an absolute beauty. Aside from a great sand bar and beautiful rock formations, you are sure to love the crystal clear waters here. Top tip: the locals sell steamed scallops for only one peso a piece there!

For white beaches and exotic rock formations, Higatangan Island is the place to be. Aside from the 200m white sand bar, they also have a lighthouse that you can visit.
Kookoo’s Nest in Negros Oriental

Kookoo’s Nest is beautifully nestled in a tiny private cove of white sand. The best part about it is that it is an eco-lodge, which aims to benefit the isolated community there. Their cottages are made from bamboo and nipa palm, both of which are sustainable and renewable materials in order to minimize their impact on the environment.
Romblon
If you don’t have enough funds to head to Palawan, the next best place to visit is Romblon. The place is absolutely stunning and also happens to be a great place to go if you love underwater life and want to explore more of it.
Balicasag Island
Balicasag Island provides an all-around experience from land to air to sea. Thanks to the surrounding corals of this white sandy island, a diverse range of marine wildlife can be found here, making it a popular scuba diving and snorkeling location.
